Travel & Diani Guide

Your journey to Diani.

E-Visa Requirement

An e-visa is required for most of our guests to enter Kenya, unless you hold a passport belonging to the African Union (Please refer to the website link below). It's a simple and short application form that is done entirely online and takes about 10-15 mins to complete.

Please note that a sponsor letter is often required as part of the application. The wedding hosts will happily provide all guests with a personalised sponsor letter once your RSVP is confirmed.

Getting to Diani

You have two main airport options. Please remember to check Kenya's e-visa requirements for your nationality well in advance.

  • Fly to Moi International Airport (MBA): This is the main international airport in the region. From here, it's a 1.5-2 hour scenic drive to Diani. Most international guests will find this to be the most straightforward route.
  • Fly to Ukunda (UKA): This is a small airstrip located right in Diani, only a 10-minute drive from the resort. To get here, you would typically fly into Nairobi (NBO) and then take a short domestic flight. This can be a faster option if you find convenient connecting flights.

Airport Transfer

For getting from the airport to your accommodation, we strongly recommend using Uber. It's reliable, safe, and readily available from Moi International Airport (MBA).

Accommodation

Diani offers a wonderful range of places to stay. To make things easy, we've gathered details on a few options. Many guests find that mixing a few nights in an Airbnb with a few nights at the main hotel is a great way to experience the area. The choice is completely yours!
